Saypha Volume is an injectable implant that is homogenized, clear, transparent, viscoelastic, isotonic, sterile, and biodegradable.
It is made of 23mg/ml of cross-linked hyaluronic acid (HA) that is derived from Streptococcus equi bacteria. This hyaluronic acid is in a physiologic buffer.
Saypha Volume comes in a syringe with two sterile, disposable 27G 1/2" needles, a package insert, and two labels with the batch number. Give one label to the patient and keep the other on their file so you can trace the product.
The results of a Saypha Volume injection can last for eight to 12 months.
Saypha Volume can cause some side effects at the injection site. These include temporary bruising, redness, tenderness, and swelling. These side effects usually subside on their own within a week. In rare cases, adverse effects can include the formation of small hematomas, indurations, and lumps at the treatment area.
