This product is an injectable implant that is clear, transparent, homogenized, isotonic, sterile, and biodegradable.
Saypha Rich is made of sodium hyaluronate in a physiologic buffer. The sodium hyaluronate, or hyaluronic acid as it is commonly known, is derived from Streptococcus equi bacteria.
Saypha Rich comes in a syringe. It should be injected with one of two 30G 1/2" disposable, sterile needles. The Saypha Rich package also contains a package insert and two labels with a batch number. Attach one label to the patient's file and give the other to the patient so the product can be traced.
The results of a Saypha Rich injection can last for three months.
Saypha Rich can cause some injection-related side effects, such as mild bruising, redness, swelling, or tenderness. These usually subside on their own within a week. In rare cases, Saypha Rich can cause small lumps, hematomas, or indurations at the treatment area.
